fitting your situation
Our porcelain switches are solid on their own, but if you're fitting one over an existing wall box, you'll need a backplate underneath. This applies whatever you're working with, EU, UK or US wall boxes all sit slightly differently, and the backplate is what bridges that gap.
Solid wood backplates (walnut or beech) are sold separately, both single and double, so you can build your own combination. Each has a central opening for the rear of the switch to sit into.
As wall boxes vary by country, system and building period, the backplates are left largely undrilled. That means they can be adapted to your setup: fixed to an existing wall box, aligned to new screw points, or mounted directly to the wall, with adhesive for example.

Each piece is packed by hand and shipped from the Netherlands, usually within 3 to 10 days of your order. If your order contains multiple products, everything ships together once all items are ready.
Outside the EU, local taxes and import duties may apply and are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are covered by the buyer, and the item remains the buyer's responsibility until it arrives back with us safely, properly packed and in its original condition.
